College Week! This week students will be learning more about college and continuing education. There will be activities throughout the week. On Friday, All students are encouraged to wear College Apparel or Colors! College Mascots at Recess: Willy the Wolverine (UVU). Swoop (Uof U) and possibly other mascots will be at morning recess on Friday, March 27. Please advise your student to be extra respectful to the mascots (no jumping or tugging on them).
Food Drive: Please help contribute to our school's food drive going on now until March 26th. Bonus item: laundry detergent.
GRAND BREAKFAST! Bring a grandparent or someone "grand" for breakfast! Last names A-L come April 30th and M-Z on May 1st. RSVP by April 6th. To register, please click on the school's newsletter link below where you will find a QR code to do so.
Yearbooks: Yearbooks are now on sale. Purchase through MyDSD from now until April 17th for $18. After April 17th, they will go up to $25.
Reading Calendar: This month's reading calendar is green and due on Monday, April 6th. Student may bring them in this Friday. The due date on the calendar says Monday, the 30th...however, I forgot about Spring Break when making the due date. Please make sure calendars have a parent. Read! Know that another book report will be coming up in about a month.
Revolution Martial Arts: This program is a great way for students to stay active, grow in confidence, and continue developing positive character skills outside the classroom. If your child would like to participate, please complete a waiver form (available through the link on our school's newsletter) and return it to the school office at least one week before the program begins. Only students with completed waivers will be able to participate. Please complete the registration and waiver and return it to the school by Friday, March 27th. Payment of $30 can be made through your child’s MyDSD account.
