Announcements:
PTA Fun Run: Join us for our PTA Fun Run fundraiser and carnival this Friday, September 12th. Highlights will include a silent auction, bounce houses, games, and a dunk tank.
Class Volunteers: Volunteers, please make sure you get a background check through Davis District if you plan on volunteering (even for class parties.) I will be emailing volunteers soon. I have already reached out to parents who have volunteers to teach lessons for BizTown.
Homework: Students are given a weekly homework paper which includes a reading log and math page. Students must return this homework every Friday.
To clarify some questions about the reading log, students just need to read a total of 100 minutes. Therefore, that can do it all in one day. Not all slots need to be filled out in order to get full credit. You can split up those minutes however you'd like.
Thursday, September 11th is Patriots Day! Wear red, white and blue to show your patriotism and honor those whose lost their lives or loved ones on September 11th.
Friday, September 12th is Childhood Cancer Awareness day. Wear gold or yellow to support children and families affected by cancer.
