Missing work and grades:
I have spent a lot of time grading and updating missing work. We have had class time to do missing work and get caught up on assignments. Students were given an updated list today so there should be no question as to what they have missing. It will be their responsibility to turn it in by Wednesday. Grades will be posted - Friday, May 22nd, 4:00 pm (available online through dsd accounts).
Wednesday, May 20th
Market Day: Market Day will be held on Wednesday, May 20th from 1:45-3:15, with set-up beginning at 1:45. Students will need to have all necessary supplies and/or items to sell at school by this date. We will be using our classroom cash economy system for buying and selling. Please do not send any real money to school for this activity. This will be a student-based market, and families will not be allowed to come and participate. We will be marketing to peers and younger grades.
Thursday, May 21st
Field Day: Grades 3-6 will be 9-11 am. I don't expect kids to get soaked through, but they are kids, so have them plan accordingly. Students are encouraged to wear clothes they are ok to get wet in (no swimsuits) and to bring/wear sunscreen or a hat to use during field day.
Yearbook Signing: We will have an open yearbook signing time on May 21 from 11:00 - 11:30. During this time, students may visit former teachers and find friends from other classes.
Friday, May 22nd
Breakfast in class! Students are invited to an end-of-year breakfast! Muffins, juice, and chocolate milk will be provided. Students are welcome to bring additional breakfast items for themselves. (Please store food in disposable containers.)
